Code & control
Explore sensors, instructions and decisions. Create or trace a program in a classroom simulation, with support matched to the group.
SCHOOLS · COLLEGES · UNIVERSITIES
We design robotics workshops for secondary schools, sixth forms and FE, with academic seminars and lab programmes developed with university staff.
Learners write instructions, test simulated robot behaviour and explain their results. Choose a 90-minute or two-hour workshop, a full day or a longer programme.

WHAT LEARNERS DO
Plan a delivery route. Spot an instruction that could fail. Decide whether a robot is useful for a particular job. Each mission gives learners something to investigate, improve and explain.
Explore sensors, instructions and decisions. Create or trace a program in a classroom simulation, with support matched to the group.
Predict results, try different inputs and investigate failures. Use evidence to explain what changed and why it works better.
Compare real applications, discuss AI and human oversight, and connect the work to education and career routes.
CHOOSE THE RIGHT LEVEL
Paid workshops for secondary schools, sixth forms and FE, tailored to your group and learning aims.
KS3 · YEARS 7–9
Follow a delivery mission from input to output. Explore sequences, repetition and decisions, then find and fix a mistake.
90 minutes · Up to 30 learners

EDUCATION STAFF
Discuss a staff session on checking AI outputs, using synthetic examples and keeping human judgement in lesson preparation and administration. Sessions are tailored to your team’s needs.
Discuss staff learningUNIVERSITIES & HIGHER EDUCATION
We work with academic staff to design seminars, applied labs and student-project briefs. Students connect robotics theory with reproducible experiments, critical analysis and assessable work.
Coordinate frames, kinematics, feedback and sensor uncertainty. Model a bounded task and explain its behaviour using test evidence.
Python, ROS 2 concepts, state machines and logged data. Develop a small simulated behaviour with reproducible code and documented tests.
Investigate usability, accessibility, ethics, risk and costs. Compare alternatives and defend a recommendation using evidence.
Example academic sequence: four three-hour labs investigating how sensor noise affects simulated tracking performance, from hypothesis and baseline to repeated trials, error analysis and a technical report. Undergraduate and postgraduate depth are scoped separately with the academic lead.
Your department helps shape the programme, specialist input and facilities. Academic staff determine assessment and any qualification credit.
BRING THE TECHNOLOGY TO LIFE
Add a humanoid demonstration with a dedicated operator. We’ll discuss available options and provide a separate quotation.
Core sessions use simulation and classroom activities. During an optional live demonstration, a dedicated operator controls the humanoid.
PLANNING YOUR VISIT
We agree the starting level with you. Beginners can use visual sequences, worked examples or pseudocode; more experienced groups can develop and test Python functions. Activities can include paper and verbal response options.
An appropriate room, the agreed computers or devices, and a member of school or college staff throughout. We plan equipment and accessibility needs with you.
These enrichment sessions connect to computing, maths, engineering, communication and careers. We agree the learning outcomes with your teacher or tutor.
Primary schools can enquire about one free 20–30-minute introduction, in an agreed local or live online format, with paid follow-on workshops. PRUs and alternative provision are quoted separately, with group size, support and possible Functional Skills English and maths links agreed with the centre.
Ask for our school and college price sheet. Your quotation sets out the session, equipment, travel and any specialist delivery.
EDUCATION ENQUIRIES
Tell us the learner group, numbers and preferred dates. We’ll discuss the programme with you and provide the curriculum outline and separate price sheet.
